Terms of the Agreement

<ol><li>Purpose of the Agreement The Reviewer is receiving a complimentary copy of the Work from the Author solely for the purpose of reading and providing an honest review.  No positive review is required or requested.</li><li>Rights and Restrictions<ul><li>Copyright - The Work is fully protected by copyright.  The Reviewer receives no ownership or publishing rights of any kind.</li><li>Distribution - The Reviewer agrees not to reproduce, distribute, upload, or share the Work in any form, including posting the file online, sending it to others, or distributing printed copies.</li><li>Excerpts - The Reviewer may quote short excerpts for review purposes only, consistent with fair-use guidelines, so long as proper credit is given.</li></ul></li><li>Confidentiality (If Reviewing Unreleased Material) - If the Work has not yet been published, the Reviewer agrees to keep all content confidential and not share spoilers, private plot details, or unpublished material beyond what is needed for a standard review.</li><li>Review Requirements<ul><li>Honesty - The Reviewer agrees to provide an honest and unbiased review. The Author does not require a positive review in exchange for the complimentary copy.</li><li>FTC Disclosure - The Reviewer agrees to follow FTC guidelines by including a statement such as:  “I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.”</li><li>Platforms - The Reviewer may post reviews on:<ul><li>Amazon</li><li>Goodreads</li><li>Social media</li><li>Personal blogs</li><li>Book review websites</li></ul></li><li>Unless otherwise arranged, no specific posting location or deadline is required.</li></ul></li><li>No Resale - The Reviewer agrees not to resell or auction the complimentary copy (digital or physical).</li><li>Termination - The Author may withdraw permission for ARC use if the Reviewer violates any terms of this agreement, especially unauthorized distribution.</li></ol>
